Ingredients:
Chia Seeds : 3 to 4 tablespoons

Vanilla Extract : 1/2 teaspoon (optional for flavor)

Method of Cooking:
Method 1: Combine Chia Seeds, milk, sweetener, vanilla extract together in a jar or bowl. Whisk it nicely.
Method 2: Let it settle for 10 mins, then whisk/stir thoroughly to break up the clumping of the seeds.
Method 3: Close it and refrigerate it for at least 2 hrs. or overnight to get a thick and creamy texture.

How to use:

Traditional Halim Laddoo Recipe
Ingredients:
Halim (Garden Cress Seeds): 1/2 cup
Fresh Coconut Water: 1/2 to 1 cup (or regular water)
Fresh Coconut: 2 to 3 cups
Jaggery (Gud): 1 to 1.5 cups
Ghee: 1 to 2 tablespoons
Flavorings: 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder or 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg powder
Optional: 2 tablespoon chopped nuts (almonds or cashews)

Method of Cooking:
Method 1: Clean and soak the Halim Seeds in Coconut water or regular water for 2 to 3 hours. The seeds develop a jelly-like gelatinous texture.
Method 2: In a kadhai or heavy-bottomed, mix the soaked Halim seeds with grated Coconut and grated/finely chopped jaggery.
Method 3: On a medium low flame heat the pan stir continuously. The jaggery melts down. Cook for about 15-20 minutes until the mixture thickens, color changes to darker one and they start leaving the sides of the pan.
Method 4: Add flavorings of cardamom/nutmeg powders and chopped nuts. Mix well and turn off heat.
Method 5: Allow the mixture to cool slightly. Grease your palms with little ghee and roll small portions into round balls. Allow the laddoos to cool completely and they are ready to serve.
You could keep these Laddoos fresh for 10-15 days in the refrigerator by storing them in an airtight container.

Ingredients:
Flaxseeds: 1 cup
Garlic Cloves: 10-12
Red Chilly Powder: 2 tablespoon
Cumin Seeds: 1 teaspoon
Salt: as per taste

Method of Cooking:
Method 1: Dry roast on low flame the Flaxseeds in a heavy bottomed pan. Stir continously for about 5-10 minutes till they start crackling with smell of a nutty aroma.
Method 2: Transfer the contents into a open vessel and allow it to cool completely.
Method 3: Grind the cooled flaxseeds, garlic cloves, cumin seeds, chilly powder and salt in a blender Jar. Set the Blender to the PULSE setting to grind it into a coarse dry powder. Do not over-grind the contents since these may release oil to become a sticky paste instead of dry powder.
